Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Email address
  • Display name
  • Profile picture (optional)
  • Password (stored securely using industry-standard hashing)

Content You Provide

When you use the Service, we store:

  • Audio files you upload (demos, recordings)
  • Project and track metadata (titles, notes, tags)
  • Comments and feedback on tracks
  • Votes and preferences
  • Band membership information

Automatically Collected Information

We automatically collect certain information when you use the Service:

  • Device information (device type, operating system)
  • Usage data (features used, pages visited)
  • IP address
  • Browser type and version

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and maintain the Service
  • Process your transactions and manage your subscription
  • Send you notifications about activity in your bands
  • Respond to your inquiries and support requests
  • Improve and optimize the Service

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only in the following circumstances:

  • With your band members: Content you create within a band is visible to other band members.
  • Service providers: We use third-party services to operate the Service, including Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payment processing), and Vercel (hosting).
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which provides enterprise-grade security including encryption at rest and in transit. Audio files are stored in secure cloud storage with access controls.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Correction: Update your display name and profile picture in your account settings
  • Deletion: Delete your account through Settings > Danger Zone in the app
  • Access & Export: Request a copy of your data through our Discord community

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes.

Audio files associated with bands will be retained as long as the band exists, as they may be needed by other band members. When a band is deleted, all associated audio files are permanently deleted.

Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and remember your preferences. We may use analytics tools to understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
