Dashboard
Your command center for managing podcast production across all clients and shows.
The preroll.io dashboard gives you an at-a-glance view of your entire production operation. When you log in, you land here — everything that needs your attention is surfaced immediately.
Overview Cards
The top of the dashboard displays key metrics for your current billing period:

| Active Episodes | Total episodes currently in progress (not yet published) |
| Due This Week | Episodes with deadlines in the next 7 days |
| Awaiting Approval | Deliverables submitted to clients pending review |
| Published This Month | Episodes successfully published this billing cycle |
These cards update in real time as you and your team move episodes through the pipeline.
In-Progress Episodes
Below the overview cards, you'll find a list of episodes currently being worked on, sorted by deadline urgency. Each entry shows:
- Episode title and show name
- Current pipeline stage (with color coding)
- Assigned deadline
- Client name
- Number of pending deliverables
Click any episode to jump directly into its detail view.
Deadline Timeline
The timeline section visualizes upcoming deadlines across all your shows in a horizontal scrollable view. Episodes are plotted on a 30-day timeline so you can spot bottlenecks before they become problems.
- Red markers — Overdue episodes
- Orange markers — Due within 48 hours
- Blue markers — On track
Quick Stats
The dashboard includes a compact statistics panel showing:
- On-time rate — Percentage of episodes delivered by their deadline (rolling 90 days)
- Avg. turnaround — Average time from recording to published
- Client approval speed — Average time clients take to approve deliverables
- Episodes this month — Compared to the same period last month
Quick-Create Actions
The dashboard header includes quick-create buttons for common actions:
- New Episode — Opens the episode creation form with show selector
- New Client — Starts the client onboarding flow
- New Show — Opens show setup with pipeline configuration
These actions are also accessible via the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+K (or Cmd+K on Mac), which opens the command palette.
Attention List
The attention list highlights items that specifically need your action:
- Episodes stuck in a stage longer than expected
- Deliverables with client revision requests
- Upcoming deadlines with incomplete deliverables
- Failed distribution attempts (Transistor/YouTube publish errors)
- Integration disconnections requiring re-authentication
Activity Feed
The right sidebar shows a chronological feed of recent activity across your organization:
- Episode stage transitions
- Client approvals and revision requests
- New comments on deliverables
- Team member actions (for Studio plan users)
- Distribution publish events
The feed updates in real time and can be filtered by client, show, or activity type.
Customization
The dashboard respects your organization's scope:
- Solo producers see all their clients and shows
- Team members see activity scoped to their organization
- Filtered views persist across sessions — if you filter to a specific client, the dashboard remembers
